Tvylor Wallet: Functional, Stylish, Secure

The Tvylor Wallet is the creation of Canadian designer, Taylor Sicard, who noticed that most traditional wallets on the market offered little or no protection from RFID skimming, which as these cards become more prevalent is a more pressing issue than ever. The idea behind the Tvylor Wallet is to provide a stylish, traditional leather wallet that provides inbuilt RFID blocking technology. The wallet is currently seeking funding on Kickstarter until the 5th of April.

About Tvylor Wallet

We should be clear on one thing; Tvylor are the first to admit that this is neither the slimmest, nor lightest wallet available (that's not to say it is particularly bulky or heavy, though). That's not what the Tvylor is about - the idea of this wallet is to provide a traditional style, with modern RFID technology. This wallet is for those who want RFID protection, but don't want a space-age style design. Some love that, some don't, and the Tvylor is aimed at those in the latter camp.

The exterior of the Tvylor is made of top quality vegetable-tanned leather, which is formed into a simple bi-fold design, held together with bold white stitching. The lining consists of an RFID blocking polyblend. The wallet comes in either black or caramel leather, and contains two inside pockets. This serves to keep cards protected both from loss, damage and RFID theft. There is a third pocket on the outside, which can store more cards or cash, depending on how you choose to organise your wallet.

The Tvylor has a fairly simple design, but relies on the quality of leather used, as well as the contrast of the white stitching, and embossed logo to give it a look that is classic but unique.

It's not often that this happens, but Tvylor have actually also announced the release of a version 2.0 of their wallet, before the first one has even finished funding (although it is already at over 400%)! There aren't too many details on Tvylor Wallet v2.0 just yet, but more should be released soon, and we'll keep you posted on that over on our social media profiles, which you can find at the bottom of this page.
